In view of the limitations of SMD packaging technology, there are two main solutions in the industry: GOB and AOB. Surface treatment is performed on the light board module to prevent moisture, dust, and static electricity, and avoid bumps and scratches. The problem of damage to the lamp beads occurs, which provides a strong guarantee for the stability and reliability of the ultra-high-definition display.

Among them, GOB technology is a surface coating process, similar to the surface gluing process of outdoor display screens. The surface of the SMD lamp board is filled with a layer of transparent epoxy resin, and the surface of the lamp bead is covered with a thickness of 2~5mm to prevent dust And waterproof effect.


GOB technology is suitable for larger-pitch LED displays, such as P8 and P10. If it is applied to smaller-pitch LED displays, it is not easy to dissipate heat, causing the temperature of the display surface to be too high, and the optical display effect is blurred.

AOB is a nano-level surface coating process, mainly including filling layer and surface protection layer. The filling layer improves the ink color of the printed circuit board and the optical effect of the lamp surface to achieve a wide viewing angle, suitable for use in small-pitch LED displays; the surface protection layer prevents the lamp beads from being invaded by moisture and dust. , Becomes the main screen of CCTV 512 special program, the screen color is softer and more delicate, and ultra-high-definition display is realized.
